I bought as a birthday gift for my aunt—planning on making this my go-to gift solution for this year.

I've tried many face oils and this is one of my absolute favorites! I want to bathe in this stuff!

Experience: First off the scent is amazing - super light and not overpowering. It leaves you wanting more and sometimes I apply more during the day or on my hands at night because it feels and smells sooooo good! The product absorbs very well and immediately feels hydrating with an incredibly soft finish - glowy but never greasy. I love that this oil is made of only top quality effective, clean ingredients. The packaging feels luxe and looks so pretty on the shelf.

Usage: I've used it both as a top layer to other products / the last step in my skincare routine as well as by itself when I want to keep things simple. Either way the product absorbs perfectly and never piles. For the summer I am using the combo oil, and over the winter I used the version for dry skin. Both versions work well under makeup and layer well with other products. If my skin is feeling thirsty I've even patted a couple drops over my makeup during the day and have found that it adds a hydration boost and glow without disturbing my makeup or giving an oily look. It can even be used in place of a highlighter for a natural glow.

Results: My skin feels balanced and hydrated. I've noticed a reduction in dark spots as well from the vitamin C. I've found that using this face oil consistently actually reduces the oily/shiny look during the day since my skin isn't overcompensating for dryness and feeling stripped. In the mornings my skin feels hydrated, dewy and bright!

I have a pretty simple routine and a face oil is a must. I love the smell and feel and tint from this. I feel like it gives me a little glow at the end of my day, and somehow feel prettier in the mornings first thing which is a feat.

My biggest gripe with face oils is that they just sit on top of your skin. Not this one! I love this one. It’s like my skin needs it. It becomes one with my skin, making it soft and supple. I love it. And I love the smell. Solèy à Deux is a winner!
